Anna Nicholls

Anna Nicholls is an occupational therapist who returned to North Queensland in 2000 and established North Queensland Therapy Services.  It started as a sole practitioner business, and has developed to employ 5 Occupational Therapists, a Job Placement Officer and a Practice Manager.  Anna has been finalist in a number of North Queensland awards including Young Business Person of the Year 2002 and Townsville Business Woman of the Year 2003.  Anna is currently completing a Masters of Philosophy (Research Masters) and has aspirations to complete a number of research projects to publish and present her findings.

Addie Jones

Addie Jones graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 and since that time has been working for North Queensland Therapy Services. Addie has a keen interest for heavy industrial and mining work and has experience in both underground and open cut mines. She has recently gained skills in Community Rehabilitation and Lymphoedema treatment.

Louise Johnson

Louise is a Townsville local who attended James Cook University and completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2002. She started working in Brisbane with a national company before deciding to return home to work for North Queensland Therapy Services.

Jackie Boehm

Jackie Boehm graduated as an Occupational Therapist from James Cook University in 2006 and commenced working at North Queensland Therapy Services following the completion of her degree that year. As part of her university studies Jackie completed 14 weeks of fieldwork placement at North Queensland Therapy Services at the beginning of 2006. We were so impressed by her enthusiasm and charm that we took her on as an employee when she graduated. Jackie has a keen interest for posture retraining and home visits arising from projects she undertook in these areas as part of her fieldwork placement.

Bianca Helander

Bianca hails from the Burdekin district and completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2006 when she commenced working for North Queensland Therapy Services. Bianca is also working at Spinal Injuries Association and brings a mixture of skills in community rehabilitation to our practice.

Lizzy Gillott

Lizzy commenced working at North Queensland Therapy Services in January 2007. Prior to joining North Queensland Therapy Services Lizzy worked in medical administration.

Tianna Couch

Tianna contacted us due to her interest in commencing studies in Occupational Therapy in the future. She has an extensive background in business administration in the legal and economic development industries. She has recently commenced part time studies in Psychology at Central Queensland University.

Heath Ward

Heath is our Financial Controller, overseeing the day to day management of the practice working closely with Administration staff and Occupational Therapists to ensure a smooth operation.
